Virtual Preliminary Pageant:

Would you like to represent your state at the America's United States Pageant in August 2024?

Compete in our Preliminary Virtual Pageant...You will have the opportunity to win your state's crown and sash for the right to compete at Nationals later this summer in North Carolina!

 

TITLE AVAILABILITY BY REGION:

Mid-West Region:  AR, IN, IL, IO, KS, MI, MN, MO, NEB, ND, OK, SD, OH, WI

Gulf Coast:  AL, FL, LA, MS, TX

Southeast and MidAtlantic:  DC, GA, KY, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV

West Coast:  AK, AZ, CA, HI, OR, WA

Rocky Mountains:  CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WY

New England:  CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT

AGE GROUPS:

Jr Miss:  12 to 14

Teen:  15 to 18, single and no children

Miss:  19 to 29, can be single or married or divorced, can have children

Mrs.:  30 and Up, must be married

Ms.:  Ages 30 and Up, must be single at time of prelim pageant (can become married during reign)

Elite Ms.:  Ages 55 and Up, any marital status

Curvy Ms.:  Ages 25 and Up, Size 14 and Up any marital status

Princess Divisions:  Ages 4 to 11

 

AREAS OF COMPETITION:

50% Headshot:  Submit by email.

50% Interview:  Submit your responses via email to the below three questions via a written response that is no more than one paragraph per question OR via video response that is no longer than 2 minutes total.

THE QUESTIONS:  1) What is one piece of advice you have received that you feel could help others?  2) If you were to be crowned the National Titleholder, what would you want your first appearance to be and why? 3) What are three words you would use to describe your definition of beauty?

Include in Email:  Name, Division, City and State, Age, and Name of Preliminary you are entering (ex…Mid-Western States Prelim).

SETTING:  We have a private Facebook group for our judging panel and submissions will be posted there for the panel to review and score.  Once the judging is final, we will host a live announcement and we will notify the winners via email.  Crowns and sashes will be shipped to winners and the pageant office can assist with arranging a crowning moment in your area.

STATE DATES AND DEADLINES:  Virtual Prelims begin on the first day of each month and run thru the 25th of that month; Winners will be announced by the last day of that month.  AUS VIRTUAL PRELIMS ARE HOSTED EVERY MONTH, NOVEMBER THRU JUNE!  The FINAL PRELIM will end June 15, 2024.

ENTRY FEES:  There is no fee to compete in the virtual preliminary. Prelim winners will receive a paid entry fee to the America's United States Pageant in August, 2024 but will be responsible for the media fee that all contestants must pay (the national pageant is a live event and prelim winners must be present to compete).  Newly crowned winners of this preliminary will have 14 days to remit their  national media fee OR a deposit with arrangements for the balance.  The fee covers the crown and sash and entry to Nationals.  All contestants at nationals supply their own food, accommodations and travel to Nationals.

August 8-10, 2024:  Jr. Miss, Teen, Miss, Mrs., Ms., Elite, and Curvy Ms.

August 9-10, 2024:  Princess Divisions

  Stanly County Agri Civic Center in Albemarle, NC which is outside of Charlotte, NC.
