How do I enter?
Your first step is to fill out the online application form under the tab ‘Apply Now’. Once your application has been accepted, we will notify you of the next steps to take.
What are the competition phases?
Princess: Fun Fashion Wear; Party Dress / Gown
Jr. Miss: Private Interview; Fun Fashion Wear; Gown
Teen: Private Interview; Fitness / Athletic Wear; Gown
Miss: Private Interview; Fitness / Athletic Wear OR Swimsuit; Gown
Ms., and Mrs: Private Interview, Fitness / Athletic Wear OR Swimsuit, Gown
Elite Ms/, Curvy Ms.: Private Interview, Fitness / Athletic Wear OR Resort Wear; Gown
AUS offer's 3 optional events that include: State Costume, Runway Model, and Spokesmodel. Contestants are NOT required to participate in the optional events; these optional events have NO bearing on the outcome of the pageant. There are special awards for these optional events.
Princess Divisions Optional Events Include: State Costume, Runway Model, and Interview.
What does the entry fee include:
Fee includes your official state crown and sash, appearance tee, pageant show download and entrance into welcome dinner.
Can I make payments?
Yes! For the national pageant you can make payments on your entry fee as long as a payment is made every 30 days.

When do I enter?
We accept entries up to 21 days prior to pageant; the earlier you register the more time you have to prepare for the national pageant.
What are the age divisions?
Contestant must be the ages listed as of July 15, 2024
Jr Miss, Teen, Miss:
Jr Miss - Ages 12 to 14
Teen - Ages 15 to 18: Must be single, never married, never given birth to a child
Miss - Ages 19 to 29: Can be single, married, divorced, and can have children
Ms., Mrs., Ms. Elite, Curvy Ms.:
Ms. - Ages 30 and Up, must be single or divorced, can have children (can become married during reign as titleholder)
Mrs. - Ages 30 and Up, must be married, can have children
Elite Ms. - Ages 55 and Up, any marital status
Curvy Ms. - Ages 25 and Up, size 14 and up, any marital status.
Princess Divisions:
Tiny Miss - Ages 4 to 5
Little Miss - Ages 6 to 8
PreTeen Miss - Ages 9 to 11
What is the residency requirement for a state title?
You must meet one of the following criteria to qualify to represent your state:
-Current or prior resident in the state
-Current or prior employment in the state
-Current or prior student status in the state
-Current or prior property ownership in the state
-Born in the state
-Parent(s) or immediate family currently reside in the state
May I seek a sponsor?
You may seek sponsors or you may pay the entry fee yourself.
