How to Enter:
Your first step is to fill out the online application form under the tab "Apply Now" or under the tab "Princess Divisions" for Princess contestants.  Once your application has been accepted, we will notify you of the next steps to take.

​

When to Enter:

We accept entries up to 21 days prior to pageant; the earlier you register the more time you have to prepare for the national pageant.

​

Age Divisions:

Contestant must be the ages listed as of July 15, 2026

​

Princess Divisions:

Little Miss - Ages 6 to 8

PreTeen Miss - Ages 9 to 11

Tiny Miss - (Camp Only)  Ages 3 to 6

​Jr Miss, Teen, Miss:

Jr Miss - Ages 12 to 14

Teen - Ages 15 to 18:  Must be single, never married

Miss - Ages 19 to 29:  Can be single, married, divorced, and can have children

NOTE:  Jr Miss and Teen Divisions have a 3 month grace period on maximum age for their divisions

Ms., Mrs., Curvy Ms.:

Mrs. / Ms. - Ages 30 and Up, single or married 

Curvy Ms. - Ages 20 and Up, any marital status, must be a size 16 or above.

 

Pageant Competition Phases:

Little Miss and Pre-Teen Miss:  Fun Fashion Wear; Party Dress / Evening Gown

Jr. Miss:  Private Interview; Fitness Wear; Evening Gown

Teen:  Private Interview; Fitness / Active Wear; Evening Gown

Miss:  Private Interview; Fitness / Active Wear OR Swimsuit; Evening Gown

Ms., and Mrs:  Private Interview, Fitness / Active Wear OR Swimsuit, Evening Gown

Curvy Ms.:  Private Interview; Fitness / Active Wear OR Resort Wear; Evening Gown

Tiny Miss Camp:  Short dress, can be cocktail or Sunday style dress

Optional Events​

AUS offer's two Optional Events: 

State Costume and Cover Model

Contestants are NOT required to participate in the optional event; the optional event has NO bearing on the outcome of the pageant.  There are special awards for this optional event.  Optional Event Cost:  $75.00 each or Both for $140.00

How to Make Payments for AUS National Pageant:

Pageant Entry Fees can be paid in full or in payments.  Payments can also be made on your entry fee and are to be made every 30 days.

State Residency Requirements?

AUS has the following criteria to qualify to represent your state:

-Current or prior resident in the state

-Current or prior employment in the state

-Current or prior student status in the state

-Current or prior property ownership or rental in the state

-Born in the state

-Parent(s) or immediate family currently reside in the state

-Current or former tie / connection to the state

Airport Shuttle Service:

The host hotels in the area do offer airport shuttle services.  There are also Lyft and Uber, as well as Taxi options.  For those that do utilize the hotel shuttle to and from the airport, AUS will offer a shuttle to and from the hotel and venue at no additional charge.  Host hotel options are located in the AUS Pageant Success Guide and will be provided once you register as a contestant.

Closest Airport for High Point, NC:

The Piedmont Triad International Airport is approximately 15 to minutes from the pageant venue and host hotels.

Seeking Sponsors:

You may seek sponsors or you may pay the entry fee yourself.

As a State Titleholder, may I compete in other pageants?

Yes!  AUS is here to support all State and National Titleholders.  Our AUS National Titleholders also have the ability to continue competing along with representing their National Title.
