Virtual Preliminary Pageant

Would you like to represent your state at the America’s United States Pageant in July 2027?

Compete in our optional Virtual Preliminary Pageant for the opportunity to earn your state crown and sash and advance to the 2027 AUS National Pageant in North Carolina!

Participation in a virtual preliminary is not required. Contestants may also apply for an available appointed title.

Little Miss: 7 to 9

Jr Miss: 10 to 13

Teen: 14 to 18, single and no children

Miss: 19 to 29, single or married or divorced, with or without children

Mrs. / Ms.: 30 and Up, Married / Single / Divorced (Mrs. can be 28 and Up)

Elite: 50 and Up, any marital status

Curvy: 21 and Up, any marital status, size 16 and up

50% Headshot - Submit by email.

50% Interview: Submit your responses by email to the below three questions via a written response that is no more than one paragraph per question.

Judging Process

Entry Fee

Submissions will be shared in a private group accessible only to the official judging panel. Once scoring is complete, winners will be notified by email and announced publicly. Each winner’s crown and sash will be shipped directly to her, and the AUS pageant office can assist with coordinating a local crowning moment.

There is no fee to enter a virtual preliminary. Winners will receive a waived entry fee to the 2027 America’s United States National Pageant but will remain responsible for the required national media fee:

Little Miss, Tiny Miss, and Jr. Miss: $300
Teen, Miss, Mrs., Ms., and Elite: $350

Newly crowned winners must submit either the media fee in full or a $100 deposit within 14 days of accepting their title. The media fee includes the official crown and sash, pageant activities, and dinner gala.

The national pageant is an in-person event, and preliminary winners must attend to compete for the national title. Contestants are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and meals not included in the official pageant activities.

Virtual Preliminary Schedule

Virtual preliminaries begin on the first day of each month, with submissions due by the 25th. Winners will be announced by the final day of that month. Monthly virtual preliminaries will continue through June 2027, with the final submission deadline of June 15, 2027.
